Police and security officers beat EMS to a cardiac arrest more often than anyone else. A patrol unit is already moving, already close, and usually on scene several minutes before the ambulance. Survival drops about 10% for every minute without a shock. An AED in the trunk turns those minutes into a rescue instead of a wait.

Coaching under stress. Even officers with annual CPR certification struggle to push hard and fast enough on a real chest with adrenaline running. The AED Plus uses Real CPR Help® — an accelerometer built into the pad — to measure every compression and tell the rescuer, out loud, to push harder or that compressions are good. It shows depth and rate on the display and runs a metronome. Victims rescued with real-time CPR feedback are more than twice as likely to survive.

Built for the trunk, not the lobby. The AED Plus is IP55-rated against dust and water, drop-tested, and rated for the temperature swings of a vehicle in summer and winter. This bundle goes further: the AED, pads, and response kit ship in a watertight, crush-resistant hard case with a pressure-release valve, so the unit stays dry and protected under gear bags, in a trunk that's been through a car wash, or on a boat, ATV, or bike patrol. Latch it, toss it, grab it.

Batteries from any store. The AED Plus runs on ten standard lithium 123 photo batteries — no proprietary pack, no special order. A set lasts 5 years in standby and can be replaced from a hardware store at 2 a.m. if it has to be. Pads also last 5 years. The unit self-tests automatically and shows a green check in the status window, visible through the case lid at vehicle inspection. Seven-year ZOLL warranty.

Fleet-friendly. Every AED Plus in your fleet uses the same pads, same batteries, same prompts, so training and consumables are one line item. The one-piece CPR-D-padz® electrode has a single placement landmark, so pads go on right the first time in the dark or the rain. Pediatric pads are available for units assigned to school resource officers or event details where children are present.
