Engine companies, rescue squads, and volunteer crews arrive first. The AED 3 is built for that position: it coaches the crew through high-quality CPR, stays ready with almost no upkeep, and costs a fraction of a monitor-class AED to buy and to keep in service — so the money goes toward more units on more apparatus, not features a BLS crew won't use.

Coaching under stress. Real CPR Help® measures every compression through the pad and tells the rescuer, out loud, to push harder or that compressions are good. A full-color screen shows depth and rate with animated prompts, and a metronome keeps the pace. Victims rescued with real-time CPR feedback are more than twice as likely to survive.

Built for the apparatus. IP55-rated against dust and water, drop-tested, and rated for compartment temperature swings. The device self-tests daily and shows a green readiness check on the front. It also connects over Wi-Fi to report status automatically, so your department knows every unit's battery, pad, and self-test status without a crew member opening a case — a real advantage across a multi-station fleet.

Consumables that last a full duty cycle. CPR Uni-padz® cover adults and children from one electrode — press the child button and the AED adjusts energy — with a 5-year shelf life. The battery lasts 5 years in standby. Compared to AEDs with 2-year pads, that's roughly half the replacement cycles, half the tracking, and half the chance a unit is out of service because someone missed an expiration. Eight-year ZOLL warranty.

Event data when you need it. Every rescue is recorded — ECG, shocks, and CPR performance — and exports over Wi-Fi or USB for post-call review with your medical director.

Watertight hard case. The AED, spare pads, and response kit ship in a crush-resistant, watertight hard case with a pressure-release valve and foam insert. It survives being dropped or stood on and keeps the unit dry on a marine, brush, or flood call.
