AED TEAM was pleased to be part of the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAA) conference to showcase outdoor access to defibrillation to athletic directors and facilities managers statewide.
"We know of several tragic incidents where an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was available for use during a cardiac arrest but was never retrieved." said Richard Shok, AED TEAM's Managing Partner. "It's incredibly important that AEDs are made accessible 24 hours a day and coaches, athletes, and school administrators practice its use."
The 2023 VIAA conference, entitled "Better Today than Yesterday," brings together athletic directors and facilities personnel from all over Virginia and beyond. It is the 50th annual conference production.
