HeartSine Samaritan 350p and 450p: What’s the Difference?
There are some similarities between the two Samaritan pads. Both have the following features:
- Semi-automatic defibrillator
- Portable and lightweight

- User-friendly with voice coaching and visual prompts
The main difference is that the HeartSine Samaritan pad 450p includes integrated CPR Rate Advisor. This feature allows the 450p to provide feedback on CPR administration as it’s happening, such as whether the rescuer is going too slow or too fast.
HeartSine Samaritan 360p Compared to 350p and 450p
The HeartSine Samaritan 360p is an automatic defibrillator (vs semi-automatic). This is the primary feature that distinguishes the 360p from the 350p and 450p Samaritan models. The 360p attempts to minimize responder hesitation with the automatic shock feature.

HeartSine AED Pad-Pak
Every four years, the battery and electrode on your unused AED will need to be replaced. If you use the device, visit HearSine’s website to report the event and receive a free Pad-Pak. Because the device easily connects to a Wi-Fi network, you will immediately be alerted when your Pad-Pak expires or if anything is in error.
HeartSine AED Pad-Paks for Children & Adults
The HeartSine Samaritan 350p, 360p, and 450p models come with an Adult Pad-Pak which should only be used on people 8 years or older weighing 55 lbs or more. HeartSine offers the Pediatric Pad-Pak for children 1 to 8 years old.
HeartSine AED Batteries: Four Year Shelf Life
You need your AED to work when there’s an emergency. But there’s no telling when an emergency might happen. That’s why it’s so important to keep up with the maintenance for your AED or AED fleet. HeartSine AED equipment is a low maintenance option so that your equipment will be ready when it’s needed, but at a minimal expense to your resources. Each HeartSine defibrillator comes with the Pad-Pak, which contains a single-use battery and electrode cartridge that lasts four years from the date of its manufacture. No need to deal with the hassle of frequent charging or replacements.
